Festival Overview
Get ready for the second annual K-Pop dance celebration! This pop-up festival is back and bigger than ever, inviting fans and dancers to experience an afternoon dedicated to K-Pop culture. Attendees can look forward to a variety of interactive games and a high-energy K-Pop Random Dance Play. For those looking to take home some memorabilia, there will be raffles featuring photocards, K-Pop albums, and other exciting prizes.
Competition and Prizes
The center stage belongs to the dancers competing for the grand prize. The competition is open to both soloists and dance groups who are ready to steal the hearts of the crowd. A total prize pool is available for the top three performers:
- 1st Place: $500
- 2nd Place: $200
- 3rd Place: $100
All audition fees collected go directly toward the prize money. The contest will be evaluated by a panel of judges featuring T2 trainees oohkt, tylastars, and scxrpio.ana.
Audition Information
Dancers wishing to compete must go through an audition process. Registration is handled via the link provided in the organizer’s social media bio and on the official studio website.
- Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted before 11:59 PM on February 15th.
- Audition Fee: $10 per person.
- Age Requirement: Competitors must be 14 years of age or older.
- Selection Notification: Emails regarding the final selections will be sent out on February 17, 2025.
Applicants must submit at least one minute of their performance along with the full music track via the audition form. While small intros and outros are allowed, the majority of the performance must be K-Pop. The final performance length must not exceed 4 minutes and 30 seconds. While the initial round is virtual via submission, the final competition round will be held in person.
Schedule of Events
The festival features a packed schedule of entertainment:
- 2:00 PM: Doors open. Guests can explore K-Pop stalls, participate in games, and enter the raffle.
- 3:00 PM: The show officially begins with an opening performance by Kate, followed by the start of the dance competition.
- 4:00 PM: A special performance by T2 will take place, followed by the announcement of the competition winners.
- 5:00 PM: The event concludes with a K-Pop Random Dance Play and the announcement of the raffle winners.
