Margins United Festival 2026
A festival celebrating Alternative East & South-East Asian Culture with performances by YVES, The Deep, f5ve, and others, plus food and workshops.

About this event
Presented by Eastern Margins, Margins United is a celebration of Alternative East & South-East Asian Culture running across Day and Night programmes. The schedule brings together live music, club sets, the Eternal Market, food stalls, and creative workshops.
Daytime performances include hyperpop group f5ve, who lean into FYP brainrot maximalism paired with cutting-edge production drawn from classic J-Pop, alongside headliner YVES and a wide roster of cutting-edge performers.
Mahjong Teaching Workshop: casual introduction to mahjong and the community with Four Winds Mahjong (@fourwindsmahjong)
Hot n Sticky: design and collage a custom hot sauce label and print it as a sticker with SPILLLL Studio (@spillll.studio)
Bai Woodblock Printing: traditional hand-carved block printing inspired by Southwest China with Yi Crafts (@yicraftslondon)
The Eternal Market hosts independent finds from across the ESEA creative community:
HACO London-Tokyo Hair & Nail Studio (@haconailsalon) brings signature press-on nails with playful colour combinations and statement designs.
The Mother of Tooth Gems (@anyamaneechai) provides tooth gem applications and sparkling rhinestone prints.
Caravan Worldwide (@caravan_worldwide), a Bethnal Green-based record and vintage Japanese book shop, stocks curated vinyl, artist merchandise, and rare Japanese prints.
Workshop spaces operate on a first come, first served basis.
Ticket booking runs through the Tickets link. Night passes have sold out, while Day tickets remain available following the June general release.
Daytime musical acts feature YVES (@yvesntual), f5ve (@f5ve_official), The Deep (@thedeeeep), Jackzebra (@jackzebra626), R!R!Riot (@r1r1r1ot), Heroic Dragon (@heroicdragonofficial), User116 (@user116), and Yaka (@yakayakayaka___).
Night sets include Amanda Sze (@amanda.szee), DJ Love (Sherwin Tuna) (@djlove_sherwintuna), kimj (@youngkimj), tamanaramen (@tamanaramen), and an umru b2b rui (@umru b2b @rui__official_) set, with stage takeovers from crews Dadi360 (@dida.dida360), Haven (@haven.hq), and KOMA (@komavictim).
Visual artwork was created by @888.cct and @oscars.online. The festival is presented in partnership with @formpresents, with two years of support from @carharttwip_uk.
