TWICE <THIS IS FOR> WORLD TOUR - Detroit
The Sixth World Tour
Global K-pop sensation TWICE is returning to the stage for their fourth worldwide and sixth overall concert tour. This massive production was launched in support of their fourth studio album, This Is For, and serves as a celebration of the group's 10th anniversary. Organized by JYP Entertainment and Live Nation, the tour is a significant expansion of the group's global reach, spanning 78 shows across Asia, Oceania, North America, and Europe. Since its inception in Incheon, the tour has achieved record-breaking commercial success, becoming one of the group's highest-grossing ventures to date and drawing hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide.
Revolutionary Stage Design
Fans can expect a next-level concert experience thanks to a high-end creative collaboration with Moment Factory. This world-renowned studio, known for working with artists such as Billie Eilish, Madonna, and Ed Sheeran, has designed a specialized 360-degree stage setup for this tour. This open-seating configuration is intended to create a more immersive experience, surrounding the performers with a "sea of lightsticks." The production is led by show director Mukhtar O.S. Mukhtar, whose previous credits include working on Super Bowl halftime performances. The show features elaborate moving platforms and a live band to enhance the group's commanding stage presence.
Special Solo and Unit Performances
A major highlight of this tour is the inclusion of solo stages for all nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. During Act 3 of the performance, each member showcases their individual artistry with songs originally released as part of their special 10th-anniversary album, Ten: The Story Goes On. The setlist includes Nayeon’s Meeeeee, Jeongyeon’s Fix a Drink, Momo’s Move Like That, Sana’s Decaffeinated, Jihyo’s ATM, Mina’s Stone Cold, Dahyun’s Chess, Chaeyoung’s In My Room, and Tzuyu’s Dive In. These individual performances allow each member to display a unique side of their talent that fans rarely see during standard group promotions.
A Journey Through TWICE's Hits
The concert is structured into four distinct acts followed by an interactive encore. The performance opens with high-energy tracks from their latest era, including This Is For, Strategy, and Set Me Free. As the show progresses, the group revisits iconic hits that defined their career, such as I Can't Stop Me, The Feels, and Cry For Me. The final act is a celebration of their most beloved title tracks, including Fancy, What Is Love?, Yes or Yes, Dance the Night Away, and Feel Special. To keep every show unique, the group utilizes a roulette wheel during the encore to select additional songs to perform for the audience, ensuring a heartfelt and spontaneous conclusion to the night.
